When Robert Braithwaite started up the engine of a small, open-cockpit speedboat in 1969, it wasn’t just the Hostess 17 that roared into life. It was a new standard of yacht making. Today, our passion to exceed boundaries is as strong as ever before, brought to life by a team of over 2,000 highly skilled designers, engineers and master craftsmen. Bold new creations like the 155 Yacht keep us pushing our standards ever further, year upon year. Just as we have always done.

The Sanlorenzo shipyard has been building high-quality motor yachts since 1958. It is a boutique firm in the yachting industry, building only a limited number of made-to-measure units per year. Each yacht is designed and produced according to the specific requests, style, and desires of the individual owner. Building a Sanlorenzo takes time and passion; that's why the shipyard can satisfy only 45 customers a year. In more than half century the shipyard has built more than 950 yachts, each one different from the other.
