Sunseeker International is celebrating after winning a prestigious Christofle Yacht Style Award, which was announced during a ceremony in Phuket, Thailand. Sunseeker’s newly launched 74 Sport Yacht won the award for Best Motor Yacht in Asia, 20-25m.

The Chapter I awards ceremony and gala dinner was hosted by Caf? Del Mar Phuket on Kamala Beach. It was also the evening of the Phuket Rendezvous and was attended by VIPs and key personalities in the yachting community. With multiple categories, the awards showcase excellence and creative flair in the latest motor and sailing yacht models presented in the Asia-Pacific region by leading boat builders around the world.

Commenting on the awards, Douglas Culverwell, Regional Sales Manager of Sunseeker International, said: “We are delighted to win yet again at the Christofle Yacht Style Awards. The 74 Sport Yacht is proving an incredible sales success with 12 sold worldwide since its launch in September 2018. The Asia-Pacific region is extremely important to our growth strategy and we are seeing substantial gains in representation across 12 countries along with new emerging markets coming through.

“While Hong Kong remains the key market for our larger yachts, the new 74 Sport Yacht is proving extremely popular across the region and it’s fantastic to be recognised in this size category.”

The second edition Christofle Yacht Style Awards has broken new ground by comprising two separate ‘Chapter’ award nights; following the awards ceremony in Phuket, there will be a second ‘Chapter’ later in the year in Singapore. The awards recognise the best of the yachting industry around the world.
